THE HOUSE OF CULTURES
WHAT IS IT
A meeting place to encourage a mutual understanding among the various cultures present on our territory, to promote opportunities of exchenge and of social integration and a centre for the research, planning, organisation and production of services to achieve an active partecipation to the life of our town of all immigrant people.
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES OFFERED
The house of cultures, situated in the centre of the town of Ivrea, offers:
- A centre of multimedial documentation (a specialized library, a newspaper library, a video library) with a systematic catalogue list of all the items and with a lend service
- Internet access
- A service of linguistic and/or cultural mediation for our territory
- Workshops for schools
AND WHAT ARE THE ACTIVITIES
- Meetings, debates and lectures on topics of interest to all
- Courses to learn foreign languages and to know the cultures of the various countries
- Continuous training for the operators of the house
Furthermore room is available for exhibitions and meetings.
